Lost but finding my way

September10

Well it’s September and I haven’t been very good about updating my blog on a weekly basis like I had hoped, but I’m not discouraged – just crazy busy. It’s hard work conquering impossible things and unlike Alice in Wonderland I don’t have the privilege of stopping time.

Here is a snapshot of what I’ve been up to and what I plan to post very soon:

— Survived the first week of school with students bringing their own laptops and getting them hooked up to our WiFi

— Launched ebook initiative off the ground, but still in the process of debugging and tweaking (almost there!)

— Just had a wonderful day working at TCEA on the new GeoSIG. Great opportunity to collaborate with the leadership of other SIGs and TCEA. Membership in the GeoSIG is open! Be sure to join in through the TCEA membership site.

I no longer feel like I’m lost and drowning. I have a map and some great people to guide me. Thanks to all of my colleagues that have helped me muddle through the first weeks of school!
